  • The CCRB Executive Council will develop an advocacy toolkit on licensure for health/fitness certifications.
  • The CCRB Certified Group Exercise Instructor Subcommittee will begin offering workshops for the newest certification this spring and will release a textbook in Oct. 2011.
  • The CCRB Certified Personal Trainer Subcommittee plans to organize a focus group at the 2011 ACSM Health & Fitness Summit & Exposition to discuss eligibility criteria, educational needs and general impressions.
  • The CCRB Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist Subcommittee will implement new parameters defining who is eligible for this certification, as eligibility requirements changed Jan. 1.
