In response to President Obama's recent inititative to move to exclusively electronic records, the Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs will be spending over $4 billion to create a combined records system that will be publicly available and can be shared with other organizations at no charge, unlike the current systems which are commerically purchased. more
