IG report says KBR dragged feet on chemical

In an ongoing case, the Defense Department's inspector general has now released a report faulting the government contractor Kellogg, Brown, and Root for failing to comply with safety and health standards which led to 1,000 Army soldiers and civilian employees to be exposed to sodium dichromate over five months in the water at the Qarmat Ali water treatment. The Oregon National Guard is suing KBR for failing to protect from a known threat.
