from Nanowerk News

If you are a blind computer user you have to rely on electronic Braille displays which typically allow you to see only one line at a time, no matter what you were doing. In order to develop a more functional and affordable tool that would allow the blind to interface with their computers, scientists are working to develop sheet-type, refreshable Braille displays.
