Falling morale tied to flawed education

Research suggests that a slow but steady decline in employee morale from 2008 levels presents an opportunity to improve employee engagement during the upcoming benefits enrollment season. More than 28 percent of the 1,100 employed adults responding to a Harris Interactive poll report that morale has declined since last year. This fourth annual online survey conducted for Unum also found that just 55 percent of workers would choose to stay with their employer if they were offered the same pay and benefits elsewhere – a seven-point drop since 2008. more
