Free resources for bully prevention

In the next few months, as the school year winds down and we head into the summer, please consider the opportunity to educate youth on the issues surrounding bullying with free resources (outlined below) from the Health Resources and Services Administration.

Available are the following hard-copy resources, perfect for distribution at upcoming workshops and events:
  • DVD Toolkits — animated webisodes that teach children lessons about what bullying is and how to prevent it; public service announcements; video workshops for professionals in education, health and safety, mental health and other related fields; and an instructor's guide for adults or older youth to use to help teach children about bullying

  • Activities Guides — a small booklet of creative ideas that youth and adults can use to implement bullying prevention and response efforts

  • Comic Books — a series of three volumes that illustrate the scenarios presented in the animated webisodes

  • Resource Kits — dozens of tip sheets with information about the issue of bullying and how various audiences can best address it

  • Flash Drives — tip sheets and bullying prevention posters, in both English and Spanish
Also available are our new online training modules, designed to provide local leaders the tools and resources to lead bullying prevention efforts in their communities. The full set of training modules can be found at

If you have any questions or would like to place an order for hard-copy materials, please contact Stephanie Waties at 202-518-6488 or more
