Grand Rapids food: A full menu of choices

The Amway Grand Plaza Hotel
There are many dining opportunities in Grand Rapids, MI, the site of the 2013 NAPT Summit this year ─ and our host hotel, The Amway Grand, has a variety of venues, including: Ruth's Chris Steak House; GP Sports Bar; Bentham's (Bistro style); Cornucopia (deli/gourmet shop) and Starbucks. Both Bentham's and Starbucks open each day at 6:30AM, so you can grab that vital cup of coffee before heading to classes or workshops at the Convention Center!
187 Monroe Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

The B.O.B. (Big Old Building)
Once you venture outside the hotel facility, the B.O.B. is another multi-venue, 70,000 square foot structure where you'll find the following restaurants, a comedy club, a brewery and more: Judson's/J Bar (steak house); Gilly's (the menu starts with dessert – need I say more?) and Bobarino's (casual, sports-bar atmosphere).

For coffee aficionados – in addition to the aforementioned spots in the hotel, there are two more in the neighborhood: both on Monroe Center, NW: Biggby Coffee at 146 Monroe and Maddcap at 98 Monroe.

In 2012, Grand Rapids tied with Asheville, North Carolina, for the title of "Beer City USA." Beer lovers will appreciate the close proximity of two breweries: The Brewery (in the B.O.B) and The Grand Rapids Brewing Company located at 1 Ionia Ave, SW.

Bon Appétit!
