Expect more electricity surpluses, says system operator

Ontario can expect to be saddled with plenty of surplus electricity over the next 18 months, says the agency that runs the province's power grid. Flat demand for power, coupled with new supplies of both nuclear and renewable power, will create surpluses more and more often, says the 18-month outlook from the Independent Electricity System Operator.
