Work-home interference contributes to burnout

Conflicts between work and home — in both directions — are an important contributor to the risk of burnout, suggests a study in the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. Dr Victoria Blom of Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, and colleagues evaluated the relationship between work-home interference and burnout risk in a study of nearly 4,500 Swedish twins.
