Late breaking news about OTE!

from OMCA

While Minister Wynne is not able to appear on Monday morning as scheduled, OTE is pleased to report that Transportation Minister Glen Murray has accepted OTE's invitation to address delegates at breakfast on Wednesday, April 16. The Minister was unable to accept an invitation to speak in the Premier's time slot on Monday morning but has re-arranged his schedule in order to join us on the final day of OTE. He is expected to talk about some of the issues raised in the Premier's announcement on Monday, April 14 at the Board of Trade in Toronto. There will also be an opportunity for questions following the Minister's talk. Also, OTE is please to advise that the President of Ontario's Workplace Safety & Insurance Board, David Marshall has agreed to make the WSIB presentation on Monday morning at 9:45 AM. This promises to be a very interesting session on “emerging issues in workers compensation and how they will impact you." For anyone who hasn't registered but wants to attend OTE, there's still a few spaces left. Check out the detailed program at http://www.ote.ca/pdf/OTE-Conference-Info-Registration-Pkg.pdf. To register go to https://ote.ca/registration/conference_registration.cgi. Alternatively, you can come to the hotel on Monday morning and OTE staff will be happy to register you on-site. more
