Nominations for Six Categories of Design-Build Leadership Awards Now Being Accepted

from DBIA

DBIA is now accepting nominations for the 2015 Brunelleschi Lifetime Achievement Award and the Distinguished Design-Build Leadership Awards. The Brunelleschi Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest honor DBIA bestows, and is presented to an individual who has made significant contributions to the design and construction industry through outstanding leadership and the advancement of integrated design-build project delivery. Past winners include Craig Unger, DBIA; Michael C. Loulakis, Esq., DBIA; Dr. Robert Tener; and Walker Lee Evey.

The Distinguished Design-Build Leadership Awards are given to leaders who advocate for and promote the merits of Design-Build Done Right in six different categories: owner, industry professional, legislator, academic faculty, students and – for the first time this year – young professionals (age 35 or younger). In submitting nominations, specific attention should be focused on the nominee’s efforts and achievements in furthering the understanding and use of design-build as an effective and efficient delivery method, which will vary depending on the position they occupy within the industry.

Please send nomination forms for the 2015 Brunelleschi Lifetime Achievement Award and/or the Distinguished Design-Build Leadership Awards to DBIA by July 10, 2015. Questions? contact awards@dbia.org. more
