Advanced passenger manifests no longer accepted at Port Huron Border Crossing

from OMCA

Since 2010, US Customs and Border Protection at the Port Huron border crossing have requested that coach and tour operators submit advanced passenger manifests to allow passengers to be screened before the coach arrived at the border. This practice helped to expedite passenger processing. However, we learned in September that Port Huron will no longer accept advanced passenger manifests. All bus passengers must now disembark the coach and be processed "face to face" individually by CBP officers. This is disappointing news for many coach and tour operators who found the advanced manifest saved them time at the Port Huron crossing. more
