Conservation corridor expands in Unity

from Portland Press Herald

Jackie Ingraham grew up surrounded by land, animals and family. She lived in a house with her sister, parents and grandparents on 150 acres of land in Unity along where Route 139 west now runs. The land is now owned by the Sebasticook Regional Land Trust, which bought it for $54,000 in March. The acquisition will create a 1,500-acre corridor of conserved land for hikers, hunters and students. more
