A service evaluation of the iTClamp™50 in pre-hospital external hemorrhage control

from British Paramedic Journal

It has long been accepted that uncontrolled hemorrhage is a leading cause of early death in trauma patients, with the majority of deaths occurring in the pre-hospital setting.
