With the search for top-flight geoprofessionals intensifying every day, you need to do whatever you can to make your firm appear as appealing as possible. One of the related considerations is the amount of time you take to offer a job to a solid candidate. A Robert Half study or more than 1,000 U.S. office workers revealed that, if it takes you too long, 40% of job seekers pursue other opportunities; 18% keep their current jobs; and 30% question the prospective employer's ability to make any kind of decision at all. How long is too long? The study indicates that almost one in four lose interest if they don't hear back within one week of an initial interview; almost half lose interest after two weeks.
