It's no secret the games industry has a gender diversity problem. In the U.K. alone, well under one fifth of the nation's development workforce is female — a shocking statistic when research has shown that women account for more than half of the world's gaming audience. This is changing, albeit slowly, and countless organizations around the world are finding new ways to encourage young girls to consider a career in the games industry.
