Clean Water Changes Everything

from CFEBA

Not only does walking for water keep kids out of school, it takes up time that parents could be using to earn money. Water in many poor countries often carries diseases that can make everyone sick. Diseases from dirty water kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. 43% of those deaths are children under five years old. Access to clean water means education, income and health - especially for women and kids. Access to clean water gives communities more time to grow food, earn an income, and go to school — all of which fight poverty.

With your help, we will be playing a crucial role in improving quality of life for an entire Ugandan village. We invite you to join us at The Power of Water Fundraising Gala on April 3rd at the Renaissance Downtown Hotel in Washington, DC. Please consider making a donation. We promise any amount will have an impact on someone’s life. more
