Eric J. Rollinger Installed as the 54th President of the AAA-CPA

Eric J. Rollinger of Rockville, Maryland, was installed as the 54th President of AAA-CPA. Rollinger was installed on Saturday, July 8, during the Academy’s Annual Meeting & Education Conference held in Cincinnati, Ohio. David M. Berger of Los Angeles became Immediate Past President.

Rollinger is a principal with Stein Sperling Bennet De Jong Driscoll PC in Rockville, Maryland. Within the tax arena, Eric handles business valuations as well as federal and state controversy matters. He is credentialed in business valuation by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts. Since 2012, Super Lawyers magazine has named Eric a Rising Star among Maryland attorneys. Eric has also been named as a Rising Star in Washington D.C. Super Lawyers magazine (2013-2016). He is actively involved in many professional organizations both on national and state levels, staying current with evolving tax laws and regulations. He has co-authored articles on maximizing deductible expenses and implications of tax incentive challenges in the Journal of State Taxation and MACPA Statement magazines. In addition, the following officers were also installed: Jo Ann M. Koontz of Sarasota, Florida, as Vice President; William B. Le Vay of Houston as Treasurer; Howard O. Bernstein of Boulder, Colorado, as Secretary; and David W. Klasing of Irvine, California, as Assistant Secretary/Treasurer. The Executive Committee will also be joined by Past President Joseph E. Cordell of Creve Coeur, MO and Past President David B. Torchinsky of Rockville, MD. Michele B. Friend of Los Angeles, CA will also serve as Member-at-Large. more
