Double digit temperatures and showers have officials on flood watch across southwestern Ontario

Nature lovers in much of southwestern Ontario are being asked to avoid any waterways including rivers, streams and creeks after a flood watch was issued by a conservation authority. Milder temperatures have left Upper Thames River Conservation Authority (UTRCA) officials on the lookout for flooding in London and the surrounding area including Stratford and Woodstock. Teresa Hollingworth manager of community and corporate services at UTRCA, said snow patches are expected to melt with milder temperatures and forecast rain will produce runoff and increase water levels. more
