NASA Names Solar Probe After Physicist Eugene Parker

from NASA

Member Eugene Parker, a pioneer in heliophysics and the S. Chandrasekhar distinguished service professor emeritus for the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Chicago, watched the launch of NASA's Parker Solar Probe, named after him, on August 12.
