U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos has a lot of questions about the American K-12 education that she's been charged with leading, and she unspooled a series of them in a speech in Huntsville, Alabama, the first day of four-state "Rethink School" tour. "Why does 'the system' pretend that every teacher and every student is the same?" "Why aren't parents allowed to decide the education that's right for their children?" "Why aren't all students allowed to pursue learning in ways that work for them?"
