The decision by the Tennessee State Soccer Association to choose Murfreesboro over Clarksville for its new tournament venue could be a game changer for Clarksville's planned family athletic complex. The long-term vision for the 300 acres that the city of Clarksville now owns off Rossview Road is likely to remain consistent as the mantle of city leadership passes from Mayor Kim McMillan to Mayor-elect Joe Pitts on Jan. 2.
