CERT Training to be held Mar. 16–20 in Beijing

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training has been scheduled for Mar. 16–20, 2019, at the Beijing College of Politics and Law, Beijing, China. Sponsors are IAEM, GSEC+, and Beijing College of Politics and Law. The training enhances capabilities to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters, covering such skills as: disaster preparedness, fire suppression and utility control; disaster medical skills; light search and rescue; threats and terrorism response; psychology and team organization; and practice skills. Sessions are taught by emergency management professionals, such as Victor Bai, CEM, Asia president of IAEM. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be awarded an international certificate of Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). Target audience includes: occupational safety and security practitioners, security managers, risk and resilience managers, EHS personnel, or others with equivalent experience in safety, health and security.
