DHS seeks feedback on Chemical Security Assessment Tool by Apr. 8, 2019

The Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, Infrastructure Security Division, is releasing the Chemical Security Assessment Tool (CSAT) information collection request to support affected chemical facilities’ requirements to submit data pursuant to 6 CFR Part 27. The CSAT 60 Day Notice, published Feb. 7, which solicits comments for the Office of Management and Budget, proposes to renew this information collection for an additional three years. The CSAT is used by facilities to communicate with or notify the department regarding issues such as CSAT Help Desk, CSAT User Registration, CSAT Top-Screen, CSAT Security Vulnerability Assessment, CSAT Site Security Plan, Alternative Security Program Submitted in lieu of the CSAT Site Security Plan, and identification of facilities and assets at risk.
