Is the United States becoming more energy efficient?
The Energy Collective
The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy have released a white paper titled "Energy Efficiency: Is the United States Improving?" in which they begin what they hope to be "an annual effort to examine and characterize the overall state of energy efficiency in the United States and determine whether it has improved, declined, or stayed the same since the previous year." Accordingly, the ACEEE has developed a list of 15 indicators they believe create a snapshot of energy efficiency across the U.S.

LEED v4 passes ballot, will launch this fall
EDC Magazine
The U.S. Green Building Council announced that its membership has voted to adopt LEED v4, the next update to the world's premier green building rating system. The final overall vote was 86 percent in favor of adopting LEED v4. This includes 90 percent approval from the user category of the voting body, 77 percent approval from the general interest category and 89 percent approval from the producer category. The minimum overall percentage of votes needed for a passing vote was 66.7 percent.
