"Summer time, and the living is easy," are the words of a popular song—but for many facilities workers, it's also a time to take a few days to participate in AFE's popular CPMM Review Class, one of three AFE Certifications that helps facilities workers earn an average of $7,000 a year more than their uncertified peers. "At some types of facilities, things are a little more relaxed in summer, so many facilities professionals are able to take a few days to improve their jobs skills and enhance their career," said Joel Leonard, an AFE Certification instructor who is conducting a CPMM Review Course in Fayetteville, N.C., from Aug. 22-24. "After earning your CPMM, you can reward yourself by driving to world famous North Carolina beaches and mountains, each only a few hours from Fayetteville," Joel noted. More

Facilities America and Certification scholarships available

AFE Foundation Certification and Facilities America scholarships are available to enable facility professionals, associates and educators who may not otherwise be able to attend Facilities America or a face-to-face AFE certification training and testing program. Applications for both the Facilities America and AFE Certification grants must be post-marked by Aug. 15. Applicants will be notified of results by email. More
