Facilities America registration continues at record pace

Last year, Facilities America and Facility Decisions attracted thousands of attendees to the event in Las Vegas. This year Facilities America, to be held Oct. 11-12, in conjunction with the Facility Decisions Conference and Expo in Las Vegas, will again provide attendees with the opportunity to share notes, experiences and lessons learned from colleagues, educators, subject experts, exhibitors and government representatives. For many facilities workers, summer time is the perfect time to improve their professional knowledge and career status with AFE's popular CPMM (Certified Plant Maintenance Manager) Review Class, one of three AFE Certifications that helps facilities workers earn an average of $7,000 a year more than their uncertified peers. "Things are often a little more relaxed in summer, so many facilities professionals are able to take a few days to improve their jobs skills and enhance their career," said Joel Leonard, an AFE Certification instructor who is conducting a CPMM Review Course in Fayetteville, N.C., from Aug. 22-24.
