Builders of the site's tallest office tower, One World Trade Center, set a 70-ton piece of steel into place this week -- the largest column installed yet at the building. Three more columns are set to go up and another 24 by the fall.

New Study Sheds Light on the Growing U.S. Wind Power Market

For the fourth consecutive year, the U.S. was home to the fastest-growing wind power market in the world in 2008, according to a report released by the U.S. Department of Energy and prepared by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab). Specifically, U.S. wind power capacity additions increased by 60 percent in 2008, representing a $16 billion investment in new wind projects. More

Beirut's Tallest Tower Project Unveiled
Lebanon’s Antonios Projects launched a new 200 meter skyscraper, which is set to be Beirut’s tallest building when completed in 2014. The 50-storey mixed use project called Sama Beirut will consist of residential, commercial and retail space, a statement said, without giving details of the value of the development. More
