AFE is working with our newest strategic partner, FM BENCHMARKING, to offer substantial discounts on the premier benchmarking system for facility owners, operators and managers. "As an AFE Strategic Partner, FM BENCHMARKING offers a comprehensive approach to the complex problem of how building operators can rate the performance their building against the performance of thousands of other similar buildings," said Wayne Carley, Ph.D., executive director of AFE. "Once that information is available, it can be used to make cost effective changes to improve performance."

Peter Kimmel, AIA, who has decades of experience in facilities management benchmarking and is one of the two Principals of FM BENCHMARKING, said the approach of his Bethesda, Md.,-based company is far different from other benchmarking solutions. "With FM BENCHMARKING, you evaluate specific aspects of your building performance using filters and compare them to buildings that are similar in type and size to your own," he said.
