The 2012 National Institute of Building Sciences board of directors is now in place. The executive team includes RK Stewart as chair, James "Tim" Ryan as vice chair, John Kelly as secretary and Edd Soenke as treasurer. New members to the NIBS board include Wally Bailey, Cheryl English and Thomas Mitchell. "The Association for Facilities Engineering wishes to congratulate the NIBS 2012 executive team and new board members," said AFE Executive Director Dr. Wayne Carley. As an organization that is devoted to more efficient and environmentally friendly building operations, AFE applauds NIBS' ongoing efforts "to support advances in building science and technology and improve the built environment."
