AGTA adds color to AGS Conclave

The American Gem Trade Association participated in the recent American Gem Society (AGS) Conclave in San Francisco by providing education and promoting colored gemstones and pearls at the event. Eleven AGTA member designers participated in the AGTA Collection with two showcases of fabulous jewelry designs and gemstones. "It is really important for AGTA to have a presence at the AGS Conclave to educate and inform AGS members about colored gemstones and pearls, as well as showcase the beautiful products from our members," stated Douglas K. Hucker, AGTA CEO. More

Princess Catherine's veil was held in place by what is described in an official statement from the royal family as a Cartier "halo" tiara, which was lent by Queen Elizabeth. The bride's earrings were diamond-set stylized oak leaves with a pear-shaped diamond set drop and a pave set diamond acorn suspended in the center. A tourmaline-and-diamond pendant and matching earrings were designed and made for Catherine's mother, Carole Middleton. More
