CEOs Announce Resiliency Initiative Ahead of High Performance Building Week
ASID
Leaders of America's design and construction industry — along with building owners and operators — for the first time have agreed to promote resilience in contemporary planning, building materials, design, construction and operational techniques as the solution to making the nation's aging infrastructure more safe and secure. Randy Fiser, ASID executive vice president and CEO, said ASID will make resiliency a priority as it works with the nearly two dozen other design and construction industry associations to focus on resiliency.

The announcement of this industry-wide initiative comes just ahead of High Performance Building Week, May 19-23, as part of Building Safety Month. On Tuesday, May 20, there will be a press conference on Capitol Hill followed by a congressional caucus briefing. A panel discussion with ASID Executive Vice President and CEO Randy Fiser and other industry CEOs at the National Building Museum will address buildings in the 21st century. Find out how you can participate!
