Cervus Equipment, John Deere's largest dealer group handling its ag equipment in Western Canada, announced that the board of directors of Cervus has approved a cash dividend to Cervus shareholders of $0.19 per share for the fourth quarter of 2012. Payment will be made on or about Jan. 15, 2013 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on Dec. 31, 2012. More

Massey Ferguson says it is now fitting the Cesar security system as standard on all tractor models from the MF 5400 series and above. The Cesar plant and vehicle registration scheme is now standard on all tractors built in the Beauvais factory, including all models in the MF 5400, MF 5600, MF 6400, MF 7600 and MF 8600 ranges. More

AGCO starts local production in North Africa

AGCO held a ceremony recently to mark the production of the first Massey Ferguson tractor produced by AGCO's joint venture in Constantine, Algeria. "Together with our Algerian partners, we are pleased to produce Massey Ferguson tractors locally in Africa. Doosan updates excavators with T4i engines, power modes

Doosan has updated its DX225LC-3 and DX255LC-3 excavators with a Tier 4 interim-compliant engine as well as new selectable power modes and work modes. Both excavators are powered by a turbocharged 6-cylinder Doosan DL06K water-cooled diesel engine. The engine on the DX225LC-3 produces 167 horsepower while the DX255LC-3's engine produces 185 horsepower. Both machines feature an electronic power optimizing system (EPOS) with four power modes to match power and fuel consumption to the job at hand. More

Polaris recalls popular Pro-RMK snowmobiles

Polaris Industries and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission jointly announced a recall of certain 2013 Pro-RMK 600 and 800 snowmobiles. About 82 sleds are affected. The recall involves 2013 Polaris Pro-RMK 600 and 800 snowmobiles. The serial number and model number can be found on the right hand side of the tunnel below the seat. "Pro-RMK" is on the lower right and left sides of the hood. Consumers should stop using this product, which is being recalled voluntarily, unless otherwise instructed. More

Zetor re-launches Major Series utility tractor line

Zetor North America has announced the re-launch of its Major Series of value-priced utility tractors in the U.S. and Canada. Initially, the new Major will be available in an 80-horsepower, four-wheel-drive cab version, with 60 horsepower, 70-horsepower, two-wheel drive and cabriolet (open station) models to be added later. "From 1960 to 2006, the Major line of tractors from Zetor set the standard for rugged, reliable and affordable utility tractors worldwide," noted Gary Bogart, general manager of Zetor North America. Navistar ready to begin shipping ProStar+ tractors with ISX15

Navistar International announced today that it is ready to commence deliveries of International ProStar+ Class 8 tractors with the Cummins ISX15 engine. The company reached its internal "Ok-to-Ship" milestone ahead of schedule this week, meaning the ProStar+ with ISX15 engine has been thoroughly validated and field-tested and is ready to be deployed into fleet operations. The first 300 ProStar+ tractors with the ISX15 are now set for delivery, the company announced. More
