Santa Clara hotel occupancy up 12 percent

The eight full service hotels near the Santa Clara Convention Center and California's Great America theme park averaged 75 percent occupancy for the third quarter, according to a report from the Santa Clara Chamber of Commerce and Convention-Visitors Bureau. The figures were up 12 percent year over year, the chamber reported. More

Fink have purchased in partnership Hotel Les Mars in Healdsburg, Calif., The 16-room Relais & Chateaux member luxury hotel is located in the heart of the Sonoma wine country. Along with the recent burst of six new solar licenses granted by the California Energy Commission since late August, the California Independent System Operator is beginning to consider a variety of novel ways to integrate the record percentage of renewable resources into the grid.
