Healing with language: Negative commands
The classic negative command is, "Don't think of elephants." Negative commands set up a double-bind. People have to think of elephants so that they know what they are not supposed to think about. If you've ever told anyone, "Don't look now, but...," you know what happens next. The impulse to look is almost overwhelming. Think about the times you may have had the tendency to preface something you are saying to your client, or someone else important to you, with not doing something.

How maternal diet and lifestyle affects the nutritional value of breast milk
Breast milk is considered to be the most appropriate nutrition for newborn babies and young infants. New data show that breast milk participates in the metabolic and immunological programming for the newborn, partially by facilitating the colonization of the infant's gut with beneficial bacteria, which are naturally present in the milk. Maternal diet and lifestyle can influence not only the nutritional and immunological value of breast milk but also the types of bacterial strains present and their relative abundance.
