By ICIM member Catherine Waller MD: How to detoxify mercury from your Body
Waller Wellness Center
Mercury, once used heavily in thermometers, light bulbs, vaccines, antiseptics and dental fillings, has become phased out and regulated heavily as its toxicity became better understood. Unfortunately, its presence in many bodies of water, along with high mercury concentrations in many species of fish and shellfish, can put you at risk for mercury poisoning.

Millennial Voices

The Guyer Institute of Molecular Medicine from a student's perspective
By the age of 20, I had bilateral shoulder replacements. A youth spent pitching, quarterbacking and skateboarding caught up to me and my labrums tore. I was told surgery was the only treatment available. These unfortunate surgeries helped spark my interest in possible alternative treatments. I chose to study kinesiology, while fulfilling pre-medical requirements, at Indiana University in Bloomington but also have taken classes at IUPUI. I first heard about The Guyer Institute by knowing a few of Dr. Guyer's patients having great results. I really wanted to get to know more about this unique practice and soon learned I could also receive class credit if I enrolled in an internship course. I began shadowing Dr. Guyer at the beginning of February.

Political update from the Alliance for Natural Health

Crony capitalism
Crony capitalism can take many forms including regulatory capture (regulated interests actually using government power to squelch competition), zoning, licensing, in some cases even copyright, and hundreds of other ways. The one thing all of these "tools" have in common, however, is that they are used by the politically connected few to extract money and power from the unconnected many. - Hunter Lewis (ANH Board President and author)
