By ICIM 'End Pain' speaker and ICIM member Robban Sica MD: Deborah Ray interviews
Praktikos Institute
Energy expressed through thoughts and feelings, energy becomes physical. Hence, we are all energy beings. It is true that at any point in time, anyone can become free of a given illness or symptom simply by directing their focus towards the state of health they desire and maintaining a state of allowing their connectedness with universal energy to deliver that outcome to them.

Fish Oil — Friend or Foe? Debate it in Dearborn

Why fish oil fails: 3 invited peer-review journal articles explaining why fish oil/marine oils are harmful for the general population
Professor Brian S. Peskin, B.Sc. - M.I.T.
The object of this review is to show how there could be no possible expectation of general patient benefit with prophylactic fish oil use. It will be shown that the amount of EPA/DHA from routine fish oil recommendations is 20Xs– 500Xs more than the body would naturally produce on its own from alpha-linolenic acid (ALA)—Parent omega-3.

Prepare for ICIM's EFT lecture The Fusion of Mindfulness and Medicine: A Revolutionary Approach to Advance Your Wellness Practice
By Debra Basham
Independence Day in U.S. is celebrated July 4, giving us the perfect opportunity to evaluate how much we experience freedom from pain. Pain is a very interesting process, and it is best to understand as much about it as possible. Whether an individual is in pain from a recently sprained ankle or from an ongoingly cantankerous uncle, we only have one central nervous system to do the processing.

"End Pain" Speaker book of the week

'End Pain' Speaker book of the week by ICIM member David Brownstein MD: The Iodine Crisis: What You Don't Know About Iodine Can Wreck Your Life
Thanks to environmental pollutants Iodine deficiency has become a worldwide epidemic. Everybody knows pollutants cause cancer. What they don't know is that these pollutants cause a deficiency that can make us sick, fat and stupid. Iodized salt — supposedly a solution to iodine deficiency — is actually a nutritional scam which provides a false sense of security.

Recommended by ICIM member Cathrine Waller MD: The ultimate plastic breakdown
Earth911
You may have seen the plastic resin chart, but what do those numbers actually mean, and why should they be important to you? The industry calls it the "resin identification coding system." It indicates the type of plastic your product is made from and is ultimately your guide to recycling that plastic.

IV questions from ICIM members about silver and fair pricing
Question 1: I would be interested to know what some of then prevailing prices/price ranges are for the different IV therapies. What have some folks heard clinics are charging for: EDTA Chelation, UVBI, IV Vitamin C, Meyer's Cocktail, Hydrogen Peroxide

Question 2: Is anyone doing IV silver? Where do you buy the product? How do you make up the IV and how long do you run it?

From Facebook friend Eric Dalton: Myoskeletal therapy — it's all in the hips
Running Times
Watch a video of Kenenisa Bekele winning a 5,000m or 10,000m, and it is quickly apparent that he and the rest of the world-class pack with him are doing something different from what most of us do every day. They float around the track, hardly seeming to touch it. They accelerate smoothly and effortlessly. Their legs seem to spin beneath weightless bodies.

Read about Allithiamine-Lipothiamine and Dr. Lonsdale at ICIM
According to Derrick Lonsdale, M.D., "the therapeutic potential of thiamine is largely untapped." However, man has a rate limiting capacity to absorb the water soluble, most commonly used form of thiamine, thiamine hydrochloride. In contrast, fat-soluble thiamine tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide, easily diffuses through plasma membranes, strongly increasing thiamine levels in the blood and liver. Only TTFD increases thiamine levels in the brain.

Alliance for Natural Health
This also means that additional patients will receive the treatment while it is being studied. It will be a Phase III study, in which the treatment is given to large groups of people to confirm its effectiveness. The patients will be split into two random groups. One group will receive just chemotherapy, and the other group will receive antineoplastins with chemotherapy. Our heart goes out to members of the first group, because Phase II and earlier treatments make it very clear that the treatment works.
