Governor Sam Brownback signed a proclamation recognizing May 2016 as Kansas Arthritis Awareness Month. Arthritis is a leading cause of disability, and 1 in 4 Kansas adults have been diagnosed with arthritis. Half of these Kansas adults are limited in their usual activities due to arthritis symptoms.
