    By Mel Kleiman

Schools2Skills hooks more future manufacturing workers
    Milwaukee Business Journal
Alex Clementi, a junior at Milwaukee's Kettle Moraine High School, thought factories were loud, cluttered and smelly before he went on the Waukesha County Business Alliance's Schools2Skills tour of three manufacturing facilities recently. Now he thinks differently about factories and wants to be a welder because he likes the idea of being able to work with his hands and be challenged by his job. This is exactly what the Schools2Skills program is meant to do: address students' concerns about working in manufacturing and get them excited about a career path.
