Verizon is investing $9 million in Dallas middle schools to help drive technical know-how for students.
The telecommunications company will give tablets to 4,560 students and 440 teachers at Quintanilla, Atwell, Cary, Lang, and Medrano middle schools in the Dallas Independent School District under a program called Verizon Innovative Learning, according to a media advisory. Each school will receive $1.8 million as part of the total investment.
