Taking a vacation can improve your health — have you scheduled PTO yet?
By Jessica Taylor
I recently took a family vacation to the beach, where I was sure I was going to relax and enjoy time away from the office ... until I started the "party foul." Every night I would check my work email to make sure everything was going smoothly and to delete spam so I wouldn't be overloaded when I returned to the office. It wasn't until I responded to an email and got the following response — "Not supposed to be looking at or answering emails while on vacation! California drought can't stop production of bottled water
CNBC
California's severe drought — now in its third year — has led to major hardships in the state. The list includes dwindling water sources, declining revenues for water districts from conservation; and mandatory fines up to $500 for hosing down driveways or for overwatering lawns. Not to mention the loss of agriculture crops and related jobs. But what the drought hasn't done is stop the use of California's water supply for making bottled water products.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Can ethical coffee help Chick-fil-A's image?
Fortune
When most people think of Chick-fil-A, they probably don't think of coffee. Now, it's hoping to change that, swapping out its previous coffee supplier for a startup brand that delivers not just better beans but a socially responsible model for putting more money in the hands of coffee growers.
