NBC News
Colon cancer patients who enjoy a few cups of coffee a day appear to survive their cancer better and they're less likely to die early than non-coffee drinkers, researchers reported recently. Coffee falls on farmer selling
Nasdaq
Arabica coffee prices fell recently as the currencies of Colombia and Brazil, the two largest producers of the mild-flavored arabica coffee bean, weakened against the dollar. Arabica coffee for December delivery slipped 0.8 percent to $1.3745 a pound on the ICE Futures U.S. Exchange. The Colombian peso is down 21 percent so far this year, and the Brazilian real is down 24 percent against the dollar, which makes prices within those countries better for farmers looking to sell dollar-denominated coffee. Together, the two countries grow 58 percent of the world's arabica coffee.

Coffee prices fall to 18-month low as supply concerns fade
VendingMarketWatch
The coffee market registered further decreases in July with prices reacting to the depreciation in the Brazilian exchange rate, which dropped to a 12-year low against the US dollar, the International Coffee Organization reported in its July 2015 Coffee Market Report. Concerns over production in Brazil have largely subsided, although some recent domestic reports have reiterated that the crop could still be feeling the effect of last year's drought. This could potentially result in a smaller bean size, which would reduce overall output.
