Like their larger counterparts, small retailers are already gearing up for the holiday shopping season, which can bring in 20 percent to 40 percent of their annual sales, according to the National Retail Federation. While official holiday sales forecasts are due out soon, early estimates based on import volume at U.S. ports show that some merchants are anticipating a robust 2013 season.

Coffee prices are beginning to fall after a decade of inflation

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which publishes consumer price index data, coffee prices have been falling since 2012. But they're up 38 percent in the last decade. Green tea polyphenols again shown to lower breast, prostate Cancer risk

Researchers randomly assigned a test group of men to either six cups of brewed green tea or water daily for 3 to 8 weeks. They then collected blood and urine samples before and after supplementation to test for serum prostate-specific antigen concentrations. The scientists found that PSA levels were significantly lower at the end of the study compared with baseline levels in men consuming green tea.
