The pilot reported that, during an agricultural application pass, the elevator control felt abnormal. He chose to return to the airport and noted that the elevator control was unresponsive.
He attempted to maintain pitch control by using the elevator trim, but turbulence made this difficult.
During the off-field landing near Brickeys, Arkansas, the Air Tractor's nose pitched down. The pilot countered with nose-up trim, and the airplane stalled and then hit the ground, which resulted in minor damage to the propeller.

Duncan Aviation estimates that roughly 6,000 of the business jets in its "core customer base" still need to be equipped with ADS-B OUT to meet the U.S. Jan. 1, 2020, mandate. "That paints a pretty urgent picture of the industry. However, when you consider that ADS-B affects all aircraft, it's an even more dramatic picture," the company noted. In fact, Duncan said that nearly 11,000 U.S.-based turbine aircraft still need ADS-B, while the total number of all aircraft in the U.S. that require installation of the NextGen avionics is closer to 74,000.

The pilot reported that he was landing his Beechcraft V35B at night and mistook the hangar lights for runway lights.
The airplane struck trees on the final approach to the airport in Wetumpka, Alabama, then the ground before coming to rest, inverted.
The pilot said that, in retrospect, he was on the incorrect radio frequency when he attempted to turn on the pilot-activated runway lights.
