What PCA members have to say about the PCA Treffen trip
"We had high expectations that were derived from the publicity materials and the price. We are fortunate enough that when we travel we tend to choose the best there is - first class air travel [well since the demise of dear old Concorde anyway], the nicest hotels, penthouse suites on ships etc. It is a rare occasion when our expectations are exceeded. Only twice in recent years - The Rocky Mountaineer train and The PCA Treffen. We expected a new 991, we got just that. We expected good hotels and we got them [although the Bayerischer Hof is a little tired]. We expected knowledgeable guides and we got them in spades. We did not expect the depth of attention to detail - the cars lined up for us each morning, fresh bottles of water at the ready, iced water with all meals [doesn't happen in europe], the intimate knowledge of everything that goes on at Zuffenhausen etc etc. You did exceed our expectations and in doing so the price became a relative bargain. Very well done."

Two of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup teams at the two-hour Rolex GRAND-AM GT race on the street course on Belle Isle were lurking in the top three early in the event, but a combination of on-track incidents and just not enough performance versus the competition pushed them back before the checkered flag. See the story behind one man's quest for the ultimate Porsche 911 collection
Magnus Walker might not look like the typical Porsche aficionado, but there is little room for doubt of the man's true P-car devotion after watching this video. We found this teaser for the upcoming documentary "Urban Outlaw" which focuses on Walker and his collection of early 911s on Autoblog. After owning over 40 Porsches, Walker set a goal for himself to own an example of every year of the original 911 (1964-1973). More

Popular Mechanics Share
At the press event, Porsche didn't bother to bring a single car with the six-speed manual gearbox. That shows the confidence they have in the Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) seven-speed, dual-clutch automatic. That confidence is well-founded. More

PCA Photo of the Week
"My husband and I enjoy driving the coast of Maine in our 993 exploring new places to dine on a lobster roll 'in the rough.' As a lot of these places are no more than a shack on a dock we always carry a couple of chairs with us in case we want to relax. My husband took this picture of me and our 993 last summer at one of our favorite stops."
