PMI OVOC new mentoring cohort 2015

The 2015 PMI OVOC Mentoring Program is made possible through the generous support of Algonquin College Corporate Training.

The Mentoring kick off meeting will be held on 30th of April 2015 and is open and free of charge to PMI OVOC members only. There will be a draw for prizes — the main one being a free course in Algonquin College Project Management Essentials or Business Analysis Essentials programs.

The mission of the Program is to provide interested members with mentoring support that materially helps the member on his/her journey to becoming a very effective project management practitioner. Mentoring is the act of a more experienced person, the Mentor, providing guidance, wisdom, knowledge, and support in a manner in which a Protégé can receive and benefit from it.

Click here for a complete description of the mentoring program and instructions on how to join this cohort session.

Content is at the heart of every business. We spend a lot of time talking about content strategy, but very little talking about the reality of creating and managing it. A solid strategy must be in place for tracking assignments, billings, draft work, hours, and final product.
