Ally Financial Inc. (Ally) announced that it will rebrand its GMAC consumer and dealer-related finance operations in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico and begin using the Ally name. The rebranding of the finance operations in these markets will take effect during the month of August 2010. The Ally brand will be used for financing activities in the three North American markets, including activities to support the following manufacturers: Thor Industries, General Motors, Chrysler, Saab, and FIAT Mexico. It is natural to view management as a profession. Managers' status is similar to that of doctors or lawyers, as is their obligation to contribute to the well-being of society. Managers can also be formally trained and qualified, notably by earning an MBA. If management is a profession, the business school is a professional school.
