Certified bamboo for medical wipes
Sustainable Nonwovens
Green Innovations, based in Cape Coral, Fla., plans to market class 100,000 ISO 8 critical environmental standard medical wipes via its subsidiary Green Hygienics in the U.S. The wipes are being manufactured by Shanghai, China-headquartered American Hygienic Corporation, which claims to be the largest manufacturer of bamboo nonwoven-based wipes worldwide.

TexCar wows crowds at Techtextil
Nonwovens Industry
At this year’s Techtextil show, German textile machinery maker Groz-Beckert displayed a Mercedes E-Class T-model specially prepared so that nearly all of the technical textiles in and around it were visible. The exhibit at the 276 square-meter booth was named TexCar and attracted roughly 2,600 visitors from 60 countries.

Pegasus Nonwovens starts production at Egyptian plant

Pegasus Nonwovens recently completed the start up process of its Egyptian production line and has successfully qualified the first materials with its customers. The production line is now able to produce nonwoven textiles in the required quality and so it has been possible to make the first commercial deliveries.
