Hispanic newspapers overall — weekly and daily — lost circulation in 2010, but not nearly to the extent of the English-language press, reports Pew Research Center's Project for Excellence in Journalism. (The daily papers actually grew circulation by 1.9 percent.) A majority stake in Casa de Oro Foods, which makes wheat flour tortillas, now belongs to Gruma Corp. The sale price: $20 million. Prairie Village, Kan.-based private equity firm Plaza Belmont Management Group said recently that it sold the stake — owned with partner investors — to Gruma. More

Grains futures traded mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for December delivery fell 2 cents to $7.95 a bushel; December corn rose 3 cents to $7.70 a bushel; December oats fell 4 cents to $3.84 a bushel; and November soybeans jumped 23.50 cents to $14.47 a bushel. More
