Ammoland    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
Members of the 113th Congress introduced 10 bills relating to gun violence, most of which came from Democrats seeking new restrictions on gun ownership. The flurry of legislative proposals show that members are likely to push the issue in the wake of the December shooting at a Connecticut elementary school that left 20 children dead. More

In campaign for tougher gun laws, Obama and allies work to tilt public opinion
The Washington Post    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
The White House is working with its allies on a well-financed campaign in Washington and around the country to shift public opinion toward stricter gun laws and provide political cover to lawmakers who end up voting for an assault-weapons ban or other restrictions on firearms. With President Barack Obama preparing to push a legislative agenda aimed at curbing the nation's gun violence, pillars of his political network, along with independent groups, are raising millions of dollars and mapping out strategies in an attempt to shepherd new regulations through Congress. FINALLY, a gun lubricant exists that can withstand the most extreme conditions.
After using Safari Charlie Gun Lube Plus, Floro Lavalle with Sierra Outfitters in Argentina reported cleanings were much easier, they were needed less frequently and field jamming went down to almost non-existent. While these statements may seem generic and boring, consider that they shoot on average 2000-5000 rounds per day per gun, OVER 1 MILLION ROUNDS PER YEAR, and pair that with Lavalle’s full season of using Safari Charlie Gun Lube Plus. His report was an 83% reduction in repair/replacement costs. MORE...

Expectations low for Joe Biden, NRA talks
Politico    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
Vice President Joe Biden and the NRA are sitting down to talk gun control. Up next for a talk: Wal-Mart. But don't be fooled that the high-profile meetings are going to get much done. The National Rifle Association doesn't want new gun laws. And Wal-Mart sells a lot of guns, and has a lot of gun owners for customers, so the retail giant doesn't want to look too close to the White House's anti-gun push either, one source familiar with the company's stance said. Human Events    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
A freshman upstate New York state assemblyman told Human Events instead of making law-abiding gun owners criminals, the state should focus on actual criminals. "The murderer who killed two volunteer firemen just 20 minutes from my home had previously smashed his own grandmother's skull in with a hammer, yet here he was living free, without parole supervision," said. Republican William R. Nojay, who is an attorney and radio show host. More
